Sound is the most important thing and all sample libraries will require effort to get them to sound good. Does the library fulfil all my articulation needs or will I need multiple libraries from that vendor? If that vendor doesn't provide all the articulations I need, how well will it blend with another library that does? Are there soloist options or is everything in sections? There's nothing wrong with sections if that meets your needs. Personally, I'm not looking to score films, my pursuits are directed more at concert music. Probably the majority of sample library consumers are looking for a Hollywood sound. That's probably going to affect me and I can probably find a different library that suits me better. If there's a bug in the strings library that still hasn't been fixed after many years.

Discard complaints based in fanboyism and look at the legitimate gripes. The next thing I look for are complaints by people who've actually used the library. See (Actually read the whole series, there are currently 5 entries.) The first thing I look at in a sample library is are the samples recorded "wet" or "dry". If what you're trying to do changes between projects, it's likely that there is no one best solution for you. It's not a question of which library is best, it's which is best for what you're trying to do and how you're trying to do it. But even that is over simplifying the matter. The difference between the libraries is modern ones will generally require less effort. Specify the location of the library folder.Getting a good mock up has much more to do with the ability of the person doing the mockup than it does with the samples/software.Right-click on an empty space in the left column of the Browser tab, and select “Add Another Product Library” from the pop-up window.Launch our PLAY sampler, go to the Browser tab.Copy the library to the HDD to any convenient place.
